We are dedicated to providing the community with nutritious food and are proud to feature organic, local, and fair trade products. As a community-based, member-owned, and volunteer-run organization, we go beyond being simply a grocery and cafe, providing a genuinely welcoming community that seeks to create beneficial connections between the producers and people we serve. OUR MISSION
The primary mission of the co-op is to operate a financially-sound grocery store and cafe? in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee, WI. Cooperative philosophy and values are an essential part of our enterprise; therefore, the co-op will operate in a fully democratic manner.

This little gem of a Co-op in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee is a wonderful, cozy little store with local produce, art from local makers, and even a vegetarian/vegan cafe (although the cafe isn't open all the time, but they do have grab and go cafe food in the cooler).... [more]

What do you like about the co-op?
It's a unique, special place. I've been all over, and there's just nowhere like the Riverwest Co-op. It's the pulse of the Riverwest neighborhood and Milwaukee. I work a lot of hours and I'm exhausted after work but I clock out and come volunteer at the co-op anyway because no matter how tired I am it's such an energizing experience, not just shopping here, but volunteering, because I am working with people that are like-minded and they're amazing and they're new friends I've never met before and I actually leave here with energy. - Volunteer Rachel P
