What are microgreens?
Microgreens are young vegetable greens about one to three inches tall. They are larger than sprouts, which do not have leaves, and younger than baby greens. They vary in flavor. They have a concentrated vitamin and nutrient content. They can be up to ten times more nutritious than the same amount of the full-grown vegetable. Nutrient content varies by variety, but most are high in copper, iron, magnesium, potassium, and zinc, and antioxidants.
Our microgreens are NEVER grown with soil, pesticides, fertilizer, or treated seeds. We only use purified water, food safe plastics and substrate. They are sold live to consumers in either a 5.5 in by 7.75 in pad for $10 or 1/3 size for $5. We also provide 15.5 in by 22 in trays to restaurants and other food services.
