Crimson Acres is a certified organic blueberry u-pick farm. This ensures that none of the blueberries you have picked have been sprayed with a non-organic pesticide or herbicide, and all our cultivars are non-GMO. They are safe to eat straight from the bush! We use management tools such as hand weeding, mowing, and mulching to lessen the amount of any sprays needed. We have four acres of u-pick blueberries offering five different cultivars each with a different harvest time and subtly flavor difference. Our picking season runs from June thru August each summer. The exact harvest dates are dependent on the weather God blesses us with each year, and we keep our website updated with harvest dates and times. We can also pre-pick the berries for you (for a small fee), and have them packaged ready to go, just give us a call!
We have a small flock a heritage turkeys that are raised on pasture as well as organic non-GMO grains. Throughout the year we at times have both turkey poults as well as full grown turkeys for sale.
We also have registered Kune Kune pigs on the farm, at times we may have both piglets and butcher ready pigs for sale. Our pigs like our turkeys are pasture raised and supplemented with organic grains.
