Locally raised quality grass finished beef without hormones or antibiotics. The grass finished makes for smaller quarters, halves, and whole beef but the meet is lean, tender, and the flavor is very good. This is not only what we have noticed but also what we have heard from others. It is sold at a discount when buying a quarter, half, or whole beef.

I sell at the Columbus Winter Farmers Market at Clintonville Womens Club, 3951 north High Street Columbus OH. Our next market will be March 3rd, 2012. We will also be at a special market out of the set schedule that Oakland Nursery, 1156 Oakland Park Ave., has been gracious to grant the Winter Farmers Market on March 10th.

We have purchased beef twice from Blane Rausch, both times we went in with a friend and split a half, giving each family a 1/4 of a steer. The meat has a very good flavor and little to no grease. We plan to buy from Rausch Beef again.
