Shews Grass-Fed Beef

We have been raising 100% grass fed & grass finished angus beef on our farm for almost 40 years. At Shew's Family Farm Store, we offer all of the different cuts of fresh frozen Angus grass-fed beef, state inspected, vacuum packed & sold by the package. Open daily all year round. We are a vendor year round on Saturday & Wednesday mornings at the Athens, Ohio Farmers Market. We raise our beef 100% naturally year round on grass & legume pastures, and during the winter we supplement grass & legume hay that we have produced on our farm. Our cattle have never been on feedlot or fed grains of any kind, antibiotics, or hormones, and we do not use herbicides or pesticides or GMOs on our farmland. We have 120 acres of pasture and we rotate the cattle once a day to fresh fields, a very sustainable model, resulting in excellent flavored & textured meat with high nutritional values. Basically, our beef is organically raised, but we are not certified. Also available year round in our farm store are homespun yarn from our sheep, 13 kinds of Marjie's homemade jams & jellies, applebutter with & without sugar, sugar free apple sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, Maple Syrup and homegrown popcorn, and 3 kinds of honey mustard, all homemade on our farm. Our secluded Rustic Vacation Cabin is available for rent year round, situated in a grove of trees overlooking the bass pond on the back side of our farm.
