We are a small cottage farm and are working to best utilize our land resources. Our focus is on heritage breeds and we currently have Gulf Coast sheep, which are listed as critically endangered by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy.
Our animals are allowed to live as naturally as possible with diets consisting of grass/legume pastures and organic feeds. We only use antibiotics when needed for the health of the individual animal. Our Gulf Coast sheep are naturally resistant to internal parasites which, in combination with our rotational grazing, reduces any wormers being used.
We are sold out of our Gulf Coast fleeces for 2012 but if you would like to reserve one for next year please let us know. We do have breeding stock available and are taking reservations for fall freezer lamb.
