Cream, fawn, chocolate brown, pure black, silvery grey, red/gold, all natural colors. Fiber types range from extremely soft to medium, crimpy, wavy, and extra-long. Luscious wool that is a hand-spinner's dream! This premium raw wool is available for $22./pound, in any amount that works for you. A pound of wool fills a paper grocery sack, moderately packed.

***We occasionally have wethers for sale for home fiber production. They are halter trained, pettable, and come when called! If you are interested in starting a breeding flock we can help with that as well. We're glad to "talk sheep"; feel free to call or email with questions.

The farm is located in the Medford, Grants Pass, and Ashland area, in the Siskiyou Mountains of southern Oregon, in the Applegate Valley, near the Rogue Valley. This is an area that is abundant in sustainable agriculture ventures, so plan a visit!

Shetland sheep are a Heritage breed, made small and hardy by thousands of years on an island in the north Atlantic. They are easy, friendly, and fun to keep. These lovingly raised Shetlands come running when called, love to be petted, can help with mowing, and produce lovely fleece for spinning or crafts. Very soft premium wool in a palette of natural colors - by the ounce, pound, full fleece, or on the hoof.

The sheep enjoy their pastures during the day and are kept near the barn at night to be safe from predators. They are shorn at the time of natural shedding, to minimize stress and discomfort. The lambs are halter trained and taught to be unafraid of being handled so that health care procedures are not so frightening. They repay us in kind with their friendliness and cheerful antics. These sheep make wonderful pets as well as productive small farm animals.

Please see previous page for our email link or phone number if you'd like photos or fleece samples from the bloodlines we have available. We're always glad to "talk sheep", and if we don't have what you need can refer you to other breeders.
