Wind Dove Acres

Located in northwestern Pennsylvania, Wind Dove Acres is a farm that has been operated by the Kelly family for multiple generations. Having historically been a working farm, it wasn't until the last 20 years that Wind Dove Acres became a pumpkin farm. We started our journey into pumpkins with just a few plants and the intentions of it being a way to make memories with our young children. From the start of a seed to the gathering around the kitchen table to carve the pumpkins we grew, we established a tradition that our family came to treasure. As our tradition continued to grow over the next couple years, so did our desire to share the joy of this memory making process with our community.

What was initially started as a few seeds has grown into the farm we are today, producing all sizes of carving pumpkins, several types of decorative pumpkins, dozens of varieties of mums, rows of U-Pick flowers, bundles of corn stalks, and cartons of farm fresh free range duck eggs.

Our hope is that Wind Dove Acres will continue to be a family farm for many upcoming generations. To support this dream we strive to practice the most sustainable farming practices we can including the use of organic treatments, deeply researching and limiting the applications of commercial pesticides and herbicides, and utilizing energy that is produced by our solar panels and geothermal heating. At Wind Dove Acres we strive to make conscious decisions in our farming practices not only for ourselves, but also for the health of our environment.

At Wind Dove Acres we pride ourselves with producing the best quality pumpkins, mums, and flowers, all grown right here on our farm for our community to enjoy. Our goal is to provide an environment, experience, and products that encourages families from near and far to make the memories that we initially set out to make with our own family, all while supporting local.
