Windy Hill Farm of Cuba

We are a small family farm located in Cuba, MO. Before becoming a business, we were raising food strictly for our family because we were tired of the poor quality food we were buying at the supermarket. As more and more people came to know what we were doing, more and more people wanted in on it. We decided to turn our hobby into a business so more people can have access to clean food. We are not "certified" organic but all of our practices of raising food is organic. It is the same food we raise for our family. We raise pork out on pasture using rotational grazing methods. The pigs eat clover, acorns, apples, pears, roots, leaves and whatever else they dig up. They are supplemented with grain. We do not ring their noses to prevent them from rooting. They are allowed to live their lives as natural as possible, exactly the way nature designed them to live. We have farm fresh brown eggs from pasture raised chickens. No hormones or antibiotics. We do not use a light in the coop which causes chickens to lay eggs year round. We give their bodies a break during the winter months so they stay healthy. The chickens are rotated on pasture as well. We do not give any antibiotics or hormones and we do not use chemicals anywhere on the farm. In addition to pork and eggs, we raise Heirloom tomatoes all naturally without chemicals. Once each month, we open our gates to the public and offer all this delicious to the public.
