Wishwell Farms began as a dairy and grain operation four generations ago. After the dairy was sold in 2001, the farm began raising fruits and vegetables on approximately 75 acres that are sold at numerous farmers' markets and roadside stands around Central Ohio. Our farm specializes in season extension with over ¾ of an acre of greenhouses and high tunnels for early tomato production. Special attention is given to the varieties chosen to plant, in order to grow only the most flavorful and best looking produce. Choosing the right varieties to plant makes all the difference, and our customers have come to expect only the best from Wishwell Farms. We grow many of our crops on raised beds with drip irrigation, using mainly composted manures for fertilizer and biological insecticides and fungicides that are OMRI listed. We care about the biodiversity of our soils and strive to be less reliant on synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.
