Members will reap the harvest of fresh, organic produce for 16 weeks from July to October with additional fruit and egg options. Weekly recipes provided along with information about putting food up for the winter months. A free cooking class is offered to all our members taught by a local chef.
What's in a share?
Early in the season members will enjoy our spring mixes, spinach and yummy cooler growing veggies. A weekly share might include spring mix, spinach, peas, chard, kale, onions, garlic scapes, fresh herbs, and radishes.
In mid-summer the shares will be abundant with carrots, squash tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, garlic, melons, cucumbers, and more.
By the time our beautiful fall days are upon us, the share bags will be heavy with winter squash and pumpkins, leeks and Brussels sprouts, cabbage and kohlrabi.
While the contents of the share bags may change from week to week, we assure you they will display the season's freshest tastes with recipes included to prepare those foods new to your table.
We will continue with our Farm to School program helping students plant school gardens and providing locally grown produce to area schools. Wolf Moon Farms is proud to donate fresh quality produce to area food banks. If you are unable to pick up your share in a given week we will gladly donate it to those in need.
The CSA concept allows people to connect with the food they eat in a way which is kind to the earth and our natural resources. We are honored to be one of many good choices in local CSAs and look forward to developing long-lasting friendships with our new members.
