At Wolf Springs Ranch, all of our animals are raised without steroids, antibiotics or hormones. They graze on fresh, green pastures or locally grown grass hay.
Scottish Highlanders are a heritage breed and the beef is known for it's low-fat and cholesterol. Because our cows are strictly grass-fed, they are rich in Omega-3's, our beef is a great addition to a healthy diet. Once you try tender, lean highlander beef, you won't want anything else!
We sell our beef "on the hoof". You let us know if you want a 1/4, a 1/2 or a whole steer (whole steer is approximately 350-400# of beef - fills about half of a full-size chest freezer). We will contact you when it is ready to be picked up at the processor in Potlatch, Idaho. We charge you for the beef and you pay the processor directly for their cost.
