Welcome to Woodland Mist Alpacas. Our farm is located in Berlin Center, Mahoning County, Ohio. When the early morning mist rolls off the fields and lakes surrounding our farm, we are extremely grateful that we have these wonderful, majestic, spirited animals with their peaceful humming in the background. Our primary goal at WMA is breeding for fiber fineness and quality with Peruvian/Accoyo genetics. Each year we take the alpaca fiber and have it spun into skeins of yarn from a fiber mill located in Ohio. I really enjoy taking the white skeins and hand dying them into wonderful colors. We have a store located on our farm that stocks our own yarn - natural or hand dyed, yarns from Peru, along with gloves, scarves, shawls, etc. How fortunate we are to have these amazing animals. Turning fiber into rovings for hand spinning, skeins for crocheting and knitting, and knowing all your alpacas personalities is very rewarding. If your interested in learning more about alpacas, feel free to call or visit and share the experience with us. Store Hours: Open October 2014 Saturday: 10-4 Sunday: 12-4
