certified organic garlic for garden or table. Our farm is located on the windswept Coteau des Prairies, a high ridge in northeast South Dakota, amidst prairie and wetlands. Visit our website to see the varieties currently available. Our garlic is planted in the fall and covered with a thick layer of mulch. Springtime brings a period of hand-weeding before the July harvest. This process is part of our commitment to sustainable, organic growing methods without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. We rotate our fields to provide the best soil conditions and disease control. Only natural sources of fertility are applied including composted manure from our sheep and horses.
