Yeehaw Farm

Yeehaw Farm is a 4th generation family farm located in Perry County, Pennsylvania. Three generations currently live on our 160 acre farm at the foot of the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. We raise all natural Hereford beef cows, pastured Hereford pigs, Boer meat goats, heritage turkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, two donkeys, a bunch of dogs, cats and a few punk kids that we have claimed as our children and farm hands. We also milk a few Jersey cows, registered dairy goats and East Friesian milking sheep for cheesemaking. A few hives of bees for honey, free range eggs and seasonal produce from our truck patch can also be found on this old farm. Our field crops include hay, straw, corn, oats, barley and wheat, which are grown as chemical and pesticide free as we possibly can. We stone grind the wheat right here on the farm and make the freshest, local whole wheat flour in the area. Cool Beans CSA, a vegetable cooperative between Stoney Creek Valley Farm and ours provides weekly shipments of vegetables and other goodies at several drop off locations in the central Pennsylvania area for a pre paid investment in good eating. Yeehaw Farm offerss a meat CSA, in which, pastured, humanely raised beef, pork, goat, lamb, veal and poultry will be available for purchase as well. We also run a whole diet CSA, where you can get your meats, vegetables, dairy, grains, fruits, eggs and other value added farm products such as breads, honey, cider, and goat's milk soaps right on the farm. Our primitive "farm store" is open on Saturdays, 11ish to 4ish over the winter. Our family whole heartily believes in eating good, healthy, chemical free and pesticide free foods with a sustainable approach to farming practices. We truly enjoy sharing our farm products with others who share this belief in our local food system and enjoy teaching others new to this "Buy Fresh, Buy Local food movement". We also rely heavily on the belief of recycle, reduce, reuse and restore. This approach to farming has allowed up to sustain our family farm through the years and we hope to continue for our next generation.
