We offer a 30 week share that runs from the end of May/beginning of June into December. This extended season share includes field & greenhouse grown crops; our high quality frozen fruits & veggies; and canned pickles, jams, tomatoes, and sauces. We also throw in an option for our local meat, honey, rice, etc every now and then. We are sensitive to gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan needs, however.
In addition, there are a limited number of 16 week "produce only" shares that will run from June until October. These are only available in the half share size.
We strive to provide a wide range of local foods as possible and therefore enjoy working with other farmers, who specialize in crops and products we do not, minimizing the members' risk.
Yellow Wood also runs the Family Harvest Mercantile in Downtown Kirkwood. Our members are able to purchase additional grocery items produced by local family farmers that are not generally included in your shares at this location. Items available include (but not limited to) eggs, beef, poultry, pork, baked goods, jams, honey, popcorn, rice, pickles, sauce, salsa etc. Please see our "Family Harvest" listing for more information.

Kirkwood
Members pick up their shares at our Family Harvest Mercantile location in downtown Kirkwood. This is where additional grocery items and our potted plants, trees and shrubs may be purchased. Order forms will be e-mailed each week so that you know what will be available. The pick-up will be open additional hours during the week in order to accommodate those who do not live in the immediate Kirkwood area. Produce at this location will be continuously refrigerated for optimal freshness and quality.
