CSA: Yesterdays Favorites Farm

Our farm is Certified Naturally Grown and everything is grown organically.

We offer two types of CSA.

The traditional CSA and a Members Choice CSA.

What is the difference between a traditional CSA and a Members Choice CSA?

With a traditional CSA you receive a share of the gardens bounty each week. This type of CSA is perfect for people who like a wide variety of produce and love to experiment in their cooking. You will never get bored with this type of CSA and it will challenge your cooking skills. The varieties change weekly as the season progresses. We offer a traditional CSA in full and half shares. A full share is $550 and is a good size for a 3-4 member family who eat the typical amount of vegetables each week. The half share is $375 and is best for 1-2 people. You will receive a weekly newsletter with a list of what we expect to be available that week. The produce is made available to you in a market style format. We display what's available in bins labeled with the item name and how many you may take according to the share type you bought. There is also an exchange bin. If you got an item you don't like you can put it in the exchange bin and take an item you do like.

A Members Choice CSA is a combination of a CSA and a farmers market. Like a CSA, you buy your share upfront in the beginning of the season. Like a farmers market, you are free to select the produce you want each week and in the quantities you need.

Here is how it works:

The minimum Members Choice share is $300. You can increase the amount to whatever suits your family needs. We recommend $300 for 1-2 people and $500 for a family. We will email you a list of what we expect to be available each week along with a price for each item. You fill out the list with the varieties and quantities you want that week. Take home the right amount each week. If you want to do some canning, you can purchase extra that week, pending availability. You pick the foods you like and you don't have to feel guilty for throwing away the foods you don't want. This reduces waste of produce and provides you with more flexibility and security for your food purchasing dollars.Your payment gives you credit with Yesterdays Favorites Farm for the 2017 season. You are free to use your Farm Credit to suit your needs: $10 one week and $50 the next. If you miss a week you will not lose any of your Farm Credit. We encourage you to use up all of your Farm Credit before the end of the season because unused balances are not refundable and will not carry over to 2018. You can add more credit to your account during the season if you are running low.
