Zatar Restaurant And Catering

Zatar is a tiny mediterranean restaurant and catering company in downtown berkeley. One reason the restaurant is only open 4 nights a week is because they are also busy catering 7 days a week. The cozy dining room is popular for private parties. Owners, waiel and kelly majid, are also busy tending their 3/4 acres of gardens where they source produce for the kitchen. The menu is always seasonal and ever-changing, depending on what's coming out of the garden. Zatar caters parties of up to 150 guests. Party platters and ready-to-serve dishes are offered in addition to full-service, off-site catering. If you have a group of 35 or less, zatar's dining room offers the perfect venue for your event.
