This very pretty bicolor butter head lettuce was introduced to the public in the mid 1800s. The heads of Grandpa Admireā??s Lettuce are large and loose, with pale green leaves, washed with two distinct shades of bronze and red. The taste is mild and the leaves are hearty and substantive
