This very pretty bicolor butter head lettuce was introduced to the public in the mid 1800s. The heads of Grandpa Admireā??s Lettuce are large and loose, with pale green leaves, washed with two distinct shades of bronze and red. The taste is mild and the leaves are hearty and substantive
Dunwoody Spruill Green Market is a 5th year Producer only Market that is open May - November . Our hours are Wednesdays from 8am-12:00 Noon. A Producer Only Market means that only vendors who make or grow what they sell can participate. Most of our produce vendors grow with Organic Methods and are Certified Naturally Grown.

Academy Street Gardens is located within the coastal village of Oriental,NC We are growing 25-30 varieties of heirloom and open-pollinated vegetables and herbs throughout the seasons. This year we are also participating in the Ark of Taste through Slow Food USA. We practice sustainable agriculture methods and follow NOP standards ( although not certified ). We are growing naturally and educating the public on the benefits of eating locally grown food.

Amy's Farm is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide agrarian solutions for urban sustainability. We cultivate gardens, we educate the public, and we preserve farmland. At Amy's Farm we offer guided tours for school kids on field trips. Our hands-on farm experience, includes caretaking of farm animals and education about farm life. We also have a co-op for our produce that we grow organically.

Blooming Glen Farm CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) was formed in 2006 to offer fresh, nutritious, chemical-free, sustainably grown produce. Our mission is to grow a large variety of high quality vegetables, while educating the community about the importance of where our food comes from and how it is produced. We also hope to encourage a sense of community amongst the CSA members. We are located in scenic Upper Bucks County, near the tiny hamlet of Blooming Glen, in Perkasie, Pennsylvania.
