WHAT HERBS GO WITH WHAT FOODS??

 


I thought that I might like to share with you some herb ideas that go with foods. I keep a paper in my spice and herb drawer to match foods with. Maybe some of you might enjoy a list to look quickly at to see what herbs you can use to go with what foods your preparing:

I like to roast fresh vegetables tossed with olive oil and kosher salt. Then I put them in a shallow pan and sprinkle them with chili powder. Roast at 400 for about 20 minutes, stirring halfway thru. Broccoli is so good prepared this way! Radish are, too.

Thank you so much for this. It is very special that you are from Waynesville, N.C. Our family visited the Piedmont Inn every year before the "modern day developer" ruined the place. When I look at what supplanted Piedmont, I dang near cried and "big men don't cry" LOL
