I would like to invite you all to participate in our annual Farm Festival held this year on June 20, from 1 to 8 pm. Our festival has shifted a bit this year. We will have only three speakers so attendees can see and hear everything.
Our keynote speaker this year is internationally known author and activist, Derrick Jensen. We are expecting a very large turnout because of Mr. Jensen's presence. Jim Donovan, formerly of Rusted Root will be holding two drumming sessions and will perform with his band, "Drum The Ecstatic." You can google Derrick Jensen and Jim Donovan to get an idea of the caliber of our festival this year.
Other guests include documentary film maker, James LaVeck, and local foods expert and general manager of the East End Co-op, Rob Barron. Three local bands will fill out the day, "Universal Placement," "Jeff & Bob," and "Aberrant Kingdom." There will be plenty of arts and crafts made with recycled materials, and beauty.
Activities for children include a moon walk, dunking booth, crafts, and a drumming session with Jim Donovan. Food will be available from 4 vendors. We have arranged for three large tents to shelter should rain threaten.
Admission is only $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. Come and have an amazing day.
