Windy Hamlet Farm is a 50 acre sheep farm located in Central Massachusetts. Windy Hamlet is home to a flock of Icelandic Sheep raised organically for their wool only. Dorothy Benedict, owner /operator of the farm is a felter and weaver and only the organic fiber of the Icelandic sheep is used for hand felted wearables such as hats and shawls and a growing number of rugs and wall hangings. Weaving is done on a rid\gid heddle loom or a floor to ceiling tapestry loom. Organic wool is available to spinners by the ounce. Please call or email for prices and availability.
