Winona Farms From March thru September, all sorts of herb and vegetable starts will be available. Specialties are rare peppers, heirloom tomatoes, expansive selection of herbs - particularly of basil. Additionally, lettuce, brassicas, onions, strawberries, tomatillos, eggplants, and beneficial flowers. What started as a lark to grow some interesting peppers and tomatoes grew into a business as I sold the extra plants on Craigslist. In 2011, I tried my hand at grafting heirloom tomatoes onto disease resistant and vigorous rootstock. The results from this processed were impressive. This year, I'll increase my grafted stock of tomatoes and will extend into grafted eggplants as well.<
