JARC Florida is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves adults with intellectual disabilities. Our community garden is an Ability Garden where clients grow vegetables and herbs. The garden is used for vocational training, social interaction and therapeutic activities. The produce is donated to our culinary training program which operates a kosher cafe which is open to the public. It is also cooked in our outdoor kitchen and shared with the clients who work in the garden. When there is an abundance we sell and/or auction off harvest platters to the public. No matter what your ability or disability is, we have a place for you to garden with us. We have raised beds with seating, raised beds where you can stand and garden and we have traditional rows. We welcome volunteers and financial supporters who wish to enhance the lives of adults with disabilities.
