Hestholl Icelandics breeds and sells registered Icelandic Sheep on our steep hill farm in central Vermont. We have worked hard to create a hearty flock of disease and parasite resistant animals so that they can be grass fed year-round and remain happy and healthy!
Icelandic Sheep are a heritage breed and one of the oldest sheep breeds in the world. Their unique wool and exquisite meat flavor have made them sought after worldwide. They are well suited to life in Vermont, and produce abundant high quality meat and wool as well as seasonal milk.
We believe in honoring the life of our animals by not wasting any of the things they provide us. Therefore, we have a wide variety of wool, yarn, roving, pelts, horns, bone, and meats available, as well as hand-crafted items made from all of these things. These products are always changing seasonally, so contact us if you don't see what you are looking for.
