Starlight Homestead

We are a small homestead in Bedford county working to become as self dependent as possible and feed our selves and others. We offer Raw milk herd shares for raw cows and goats milk ( depending on the season for goats) We raise and sell seasonally, by the whole, beef, pork, chicken and turkey and offer pasture raised eggs. Our animals are not organic because we do treat them with antibiotics on the rare occasion they may they get sick, and feed them traditionally grown hay and grains, when our pastures need a break. We do strive to maintain the balance of health and happiness of all our animals by being aware of all their needs and wants and being sure to keep a low stress environment for all our animal friends who all have access to pasture and grazing most of the year. (pigs are not on pasture)
