Wow, time has flew by! Our Spring here has been long and cold. The Farm is now starting to look very beaurtiful after weeks of rain, hail, and even snow. We built frames to go over all the raised beds to either attach plastic or shade cloth to. I usually use grass clippings to hold in the moisture and heat. This year it was holding in the cold so, I had to remove it from some of the plants. Only being 80 miles from Yellowstone, our nights here have only been in the 40's. The Basil had to all be moved into the greenhouses. The cold weather crops have doon very well. This is the first year I have grown Kale and have LOTS of it. I have been educating the public on how to cook with it and how to use sunflower sprouts. They are loving it!!
