We are in for a rainy week and we love it!! No outdoor watering, the pollen is being kept at bay and we won't be cooking in the sun. YIPPEE :)
For those of you planting a garden, we have a beautiful selection of early crops ready to go in the ground or pot. Chard, spinach, beets, cabbages, broccoli, cauliflower, collards,
Kohlrabi, mustard greens, lettuce. Not to mention the herbs and tender vegetables we have ready to go. Keep in mind to incorporate edibles within your flower gardens. Stop by and we will show you our display gardens with flowers and vegetables mixed together.
Jillie has developed wonderful earth friendly growing kits for all ages. She has beans, lettuce, flowers and vine crops kits, complete with growing pots, soil, fertilizer and seeds. These kits are perfect for your home, daycares, Sunday schools, scouts and primary & secondary school to get everyone growing!! Quantity discounts are available.
The perennials are looking stellar... perfect time for planting.
On a sad note..we have had to cancel the Herb and Artisan festival this year. We do have other events in the works, we will keep you posted.
