Hot Tuesday at the Bluegrass Farmers' Market!
Hot, Hot, Hot! Yup, Mother Nature is having a heat wave and that means you don't want to heat up the kitchen, so how about grilling some veggies! We enjoyed grilled potatoes, onions, carrots, cabbage, garlic and zucchini on Sunday. It was sooooo easy and delicious! I just cubed, sliced or diced all of the veggies...tossed them with some canola oil and seasoned then to taste...wrap in an aluminum foil “bag” and grill on a low flame and then turn after about 30 minutes. It took our goodies about 50 minutes to cook thoroughly but it all depends on how small you cut your veggies. All I know is we sure did enjoy our “dump on your plate” grilled veggies.
The best part about this easy to fix goodies is that everything will be available at the market today!!! Yup, the Tuesday market on Richmond Rd. will have loads of summer goodness available. Here's just a sampling of what you'll find...

We'll be set up in the beautiful tree lined parking lot of Pedal the Planet and Fast Signs, right next door to the Glenn Auto Mall on Richmond Rd. It's just a hop, skip and a jump outside of Man 'O War Blvd. Parking is right there so you don't have to drive around hunting for a spot to park. The parking lot is also paved and that makes it very stroller and wheelchair friendly!
