As folks say, the hazy, lazy days of summer have arrived! Except that our farmers are never lazy, no matter how hot and hazy it gets. They are working in the fields in order to provide our customers with nothing but the freshest and the best homegrown goodness. A walk through the Bluegrass Farmers' Market this Saturday will be a myriad of color and flavors to add to your culinary delights! Wow, how was that for a description of the wonderful fruits, veggies and other goodies at our 100% homegrown market. Lol

Don't forget, the Thursday market at the Willow Oak location is now open from 3 until 6! Today you'll find blackberries, blueberries and jams from Caludi Fields and green and wax beans, potatoes, cucumbers and green tomatoes from Emnett Acres.

We'll be set up in the beautiful tree lined parking lot of Pedal the Planet and Fast Signs, right next door to the Glenn Auto Mall on Richmond Rd. It's just a hop, skip and a jump outside of Man 'O War Blvd. Parking is right there so you don't have to drive around hunting for a spot to park. The parking lot is also paved and that makes it very stroller and wheelchair friendly!
