Bluegrass Farmers Market

Only one more week until our “Back To School Day!” On August 31st, we'll be giving away a limited number of insulated lunch totes, so shop early! Both market locations will be participating. And, by the way they are Wildcat blue or in our case...Bluegrass blue!!!

Summer is still in full swing and you can sure tell by the homegrown goodness available at the market. The tomatoes are wonderful, the corn is spectacular and the green beans are to die for! Many of our farmers have what they call “seconds” available. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them except that they aren't pretty...wonderful for canning or freezing though. If you don't see any on the tables, ask the farmer because he or she might have them hidden away.

We'll be set up in the beautiful tree lined parking lot of Pedal the Planet and Fast Signs, right next door to the Glenn Auto Mall on Richmond Rd. It's just a hop, skip and a jump outside of Man 'O War Blvd. Parking is right there so you don't have to drive around hunting for a spot to park. The parking lot is also paved and that makes it very stroller and wheelchair friendly!

And, you can enjoy the music of the "Two Old Troubadours,"  Roger and Clay!
