Bluegrass Farmers Market

Well, it's that time of the year again...school is in session! That doesn't mean that the Bluegrass Farmers' Market closes...we're still open at both market locations and we will continue to stay open through at least October! That means you can still enjoy plenty of local products and fresh veggies! Tomorrow you'll be able to find corn, tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, squash, cucumbers, potatoes, eggplant, okra, peppers...both hot and sweet, melons, fresh cut herbs and flowers, handcrafted soaps, honey, herb seasoning, baked goods, beef, pork and so much more! A little news to share about tomorrow's Liquor Barn Hamburg market... Tomatoes, Etc. will be bringing a limited amount of heirloom tomatoes and peppers...it will be the first time that Roger has had anything to sell and folks sure have been asking about him. Yup, he'll be at the market tomorrow! Kelly's Kobe Beef & Herman's Happy Hogs will be running a Stock Up Your Freezer sale on pork sausage...sale priced at $3.50 a pound. “Kobe” burgers will be $5.00 a package! And, if you are going to Picnic With The Pops, don't forget fresh flowers for your table! Jane's Garden, Flowers & Herbs will have plenty available! Some great news from the folks at Herb'n Renewal...the long back ordered shea butter has finally arrived so you'll find a nice selection of their handcrafted soaps tomorrow!
