Sugar Snaps make a great side. We had ours with egg noodles and pan fried salmon. Seasoned with cirtus.
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup onions
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup carrots diced
1 cup broccoli
1 cup rice noodles cut into 2-3 inch pieces
1/3 cup Classic Stir Fry Sauce
1 lb. shrimp
4 leaves of swiss chard chopped
1 cup sugar snap
1/2 cup white wine
Saute garlic and onion in olive oil. Add carrots and broccoli and continue until tender. Add rice noodles and stir fry sauce saute a few minutes. Add shrimp and saute until shrimp turns pink. Now add swiss chard cook for additional minute. Add sugar snaps and white wine and cook for two minutes. Serve.
Welcome to our farm blog. We are hoping to update this blog regularly with farm news, pictures and recipes. Today we have a lot of rain. Which means we have a day off. HAHA. We are farmers. There is no such thing. Today we will finish our plan for the spring planting. Work in the greenhouse with our seedlings. Make some jelly with the strawberries we picked for market. Since the market was cancelled, they will need to be used. I'll post pictures later.
We are also making plans for our u-pick strawberries. The plants have a hole bunch of beautiful berries on them. All we need now is some sun to not only dry the field, but ripen up those berries. Check back for u-pick dates and times.
