Root crops include beets, carrots, leeks, onions, celeriac, radish, daikon radish and turnips. With beans, snap peas, cucumbers, broccoli, califlower, kolarabi, cabbages, peppers, corn, heirloom tomatoes and zucchini, your choices abound. Add winter squashes like acorn, butternut, red kiri, sweet dumplin and delicata; along with fall pumpkins and gourds, you'll have a great variety from spring until fall.
