The Palafox Market on Saturdays would be a great start! I'm always looking for hormone and antibiotic free meat and pork is hard to come by.

Then there is Evermans's grocery on Garden St.
They look for organic and a LOCAL.

Hope to see you at the Palafox Market!

Well, I am certainly no expert on pigs, but I do have a minor certification in marketing. Is there any way I can help?

Have you gone to the Facebook page? We posted your question there and folks are responding!

Your friendly Local Harvest FB admin, Megan

Megan,
That is funny you should mention that... I not sure how to go on face book...so several days ago I pick up a mini edition book on "Facebook for Dummies" LOL
I will read it now and try to go on Facebook...What are folks saying??
Thanks Donnie

Are your little piggies grass-fed? I know lard is actually very much needed at Palafox Market and becoming quite popular again (since research lately has shown it isn't unhealthy to use, lots of good fats and medium-chain saturated fats, which are not harmful). I haven't been able to find anyone who sells lard here.
