We have a new addition to the farm. A Great Pyrenees puppy. They are named after the mountain range in Spain. They bond with the livestock. They are raised with and act as a guardian against fox, coyotes, raccoon's, and owls which seem to be our most successful predators. We had a game camera confirm that a Great Horned Owl was helping himself to any of our hens who didn't promptly go into their coop at night. Hedge, the puppy, is about nine weeks old and seems to take the care of the hens all in stride. He came from a pair of working parents on a farm in the middle of Indiana. He has long white hair and will weigh 120lbs or more. The hens pay him little attention but want to share HIS dog food. Time will tell how it all works out. The Collar's
