Bonz Beach Farms

Bonz Beach Farms is a family-operated Northern Michigan farm located in Onaway, producing 100% pure Michigan maple syrup and farm-made maple products using traditional methods and modern stewardship.

Our maple syrup begins as sap collected from thousands of maple trees through miles of tubing across the farm and is boiled down on-site into rich, clean-tasting syrup. We focus on quality, transparency, and keeping our products as close to the source as possible — no corn syrup, no additives, and no artificial ingredients.

In addition to classic maple syrup, we also produce:

• Vanilla, cinnamon, and jalapeño-flavored maple syrups
• Granulated maple sugar
• Maple candies (plain and chocolate-covered)
• Maple pecan granola sweetened with our own maple syrup (a local favorite)

All of our maple sugar is made by removing the water from maple syrup — nothing added, nothing stripped away. Because our products are minimally processed, they retain trace minerals naturally found in maple sap.

We operate a self-serve farm market where visitors can stop in, browse, and purchase directly from the farm.

Internships:

Bonz Beach Farms welcomes intern inquiries from individuals interested in hands-on experience in maple syrup production, farm operations, seasonal harvesting, and local food systems. Interns gain real exposure to working farm life, not classroom theory. Opportunities vary by season.

Wholesale Inquiries:

We accept wholesale inquiries for maple syrup, maple sugar, granola, and select farm products. Restaurants, retailers, and food service buyers are encouraged to reach out to discuss availability, volumes, and pricing.

Seasonal Produce:

In addition to our maple products, we grow and sell seasonal produce, available at our farm market when in harvest:

• Lettuce
• Kale
• Spinach
• Tomatoes
• Garlic
• Rutabaga
