Solstice Hill Farm is a small, family owned, mainly vegetable farm located in beautiful Schoharie County, New York that uses sustainable and environmentally friendly practices: no synthetic or chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers are used. We took the NOFA-NY Farmers Pledge and are working to become Certified Organic through NOFA-NY starting in the 2015 season. Farmer Clemens Mackay was born and raised in Dorloo and Cobleskill; returning to family land in 2010 after 10 years away, he began his fifth season living and working on farms. Clemens believes in using nutrient dense farming techniques to make sure that the essential nutrients needed to grow healthy vegetables are in the soil. If the nutrients are in the soil then they are also in your food; healthy vegetables grow healthy people.
