I try to buy his meats any time I see him at the farmers' markets.
I first dreamed of farming as a California city kid, fast forward to the new millennium and the dream is realized. Now I tend my very own slice of heaven with the help of my dear fella and our barefooted ragamuffins. I have always felt that real food, the kind that nourishes a person to the bones and floods the senses, is a gift from the land by way of happy animals. We do our best to raise these critters with a light touch in a natural environment. Oh boy, do I love the way happy tastes!
