Log Cabin Orchard

The Fall Colors are just beginning to be expressed, so it would be a great time to come to our orchard to view them and maybe pick some apples. We will have our Roadside stand setup with Pre-picked apples(HoneyCrisp, McIntoch, & Cortland), Apple Cider, Apple Cider Slushies Apple Hand Pies, Maple, Apple, Aronia, & Hickory Syrups. We will have HoneyCrisp, Cortland, and McIntosh apples available this week at the markets.

This Wednesday(10/30), we’re again at the Wednesday Sheboygan Farmers’ Market. The market is held downtown in Fountain Park, 8AM to 1PM.

Thursday(10/1) find us at the Plymouth Farmers' Market held at Stayer Park, 39 S. Stafford St, 3PM to 6PM.

Saturday (10/3) is the Saturday Sheboygan Farmers’ Market. The market is held downtown in Fountain Park, 8AM to 1PM.

And on Sunday, 9/20, Noon to 5PM, we again will have U-Pick HoneyCrisp, Cortland, and McIntosh apples or just check out our 1870’s era Log Cabin. We will also have our Road-Side stand open for Pre-picked HoneyCrisp, Cortland, and McIntosh Apples, Apple Cider by the jug, Apple Cider Slushies by-the-cup, Apple Hand pies, and our syrups.

You have the option of ordering online and scheduling a pickup at our home/orchard or at the Fleet Farm parking lot on Wednesday’s, 5:30PM to 6:00PM

We bought apples at Mileagers Farm market held Sundays. We also bought Apple Pie filling. Wow! I always add butter and cinnamon but this jar of filling needed nothing. It is fabulous! I am a devoted canner/Pickler and very happy with this filling!

Wintertime in the Orchard

Now that we've had our first cold snap, we will be starting pruning the apple tree. Trees need to be 'cold hardened' before pruning. If they are not cold hardened, the pruning process will stimulate the trees and when we eventually get a cold spell, the trees may be damaged.
