Chicago's Downtown Farmstand

Chicago’s Downtown Farmstand offers edible local products, including fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs in season; a full range of condiments, preserves, seasonings and other food items; baked goods and other seasonal items as available — all produced within a day's drive of Chicago. In addition to selling individual items, the Farmstand serves as a hub for the local food industry, offering educational programs and activities designed to foster interaction between local growers/producers and Chicago residents and visitors. On Wednesdays and Fridays, lunchtime demonstrations highlight what is newest and freshest that day. Chicago's Downtown Farmstand has temporarily closed as of Tuesday, December 23, 2008 and will reopen on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. During this time we will be making improvements to our space, expanding our range of products, and getting ready for a busy year of programs, activities, and great food!
