Haystack Gardens

Our family farm is small and continually growing. We are certified by the IDPH as a raw dairy. Our livestock is raised on grass and moved frequently to improve pasture, provide the best quality nutrition for the animals, and protect them from parasites. We employ holistic management on our farm for our decision making and are improving the soil we have rather than depleting it. We are always looking to support local businesses from producers with similar values whenever possible.

Our mission statement: We are committed to regenerating the land by producing the highest quality, nutrient-dense food. We seek to improve the health of soil and cultivate an abundantly diverse community of plants and animals that function together symbiotically, painting a picture of what it would look like to visit the Garden of Eden.

We are open and transparent about our practices and are always looking to improve. We believe our customers should have an awareness of our practices and the option to know about the production of food before choosing to patronize our farm.
