South Pork Ranch is smack dab in the middle of nowhere, south of Kankakee, north of Champaign and northeast of Bloomington, yet our farm is perfectly situated in the middle of beautiful all natural fields. Our Dairy ,beef and hog production is certified organic by MOSA. All our cows are USDA Certified 100% Grass Fed, hormone and antibiotic free.Our pork is also pasture raised without hormones or antibiotics and fed certified organic milk and grain. We raise Red Wattle Heritage Hogs, currently on the critically endangered list according to the American Breeds Livestock Conservancy . We are only the third breeder of this special hog in Illinois. Beef is sold by the whole, 1/2 and 1/4 carcass. for $4.25 a pound hanging weight plus processing. Pork is sold by the whole and 1/2 carcass for $3.25 a pound hanging weight plus processing. Smaller cuts of meat,(steaks, roasts, bacon, whole and cut up chicken etc...) handmade all natural soap, raw honey, organic flours, cage free eggs etc...are available in our on site farm store. Open Monday thru Saturday 10am to 6pm. Raw milk is available year round for $6 a gallon. You must bring your own container. and make an appt. to purchase milk . Call 815-635-3414.
