Red-Tailed Farm

Located just outside Burgaw in Pender County, here at Red-Tailed Farm we strive to raise our animals in the most natural and sustainable ways possible. We practice year-round rotational grazing with our mixed herd of sheep and goats, followed by our laying hens, broilers, meat ducks and turkeys in their mobile coops. We raise our pigs in the forest, allowing them to live a natural life much like their wild cousins. All of our animals are fed a custom-milled Non-GMO, Soy free diet. We use only solar power to charge our portable electric fences and buy supplies from our local general store whenever possible.
Our products include chicken and duck eggs, pork, lamb, goat, rabbit, chicken, duck, and turkey. We also offer artisan wood crafts made from reclaimed oak barnwood and home made dog treats.
Our products can be purchased year-round at The Wilmington Farmers Market at Tidal Creek Co-op every Saturday morning from 8am-1pm. We are Temporarily located at Wrightsville Beach Brewery on Oleander Dr. due to construction at Tidal Creek Co-op.
We now offer free delivery to New Hanover, Pender and Brunswick County customers while the stay-at-home order is in place.
