The Grass Fed Cattle Company is a cooperative of local family farmers that specialize in raising local 100% grass fed cattle, on free range, with no added hormones or antibiotics. All of our farms are within 150 miles of the Twin Cities metro area. 100% grass fed beef is nutritionally superior to grain fed beef due to high levels of healthy fats and acids. Studies of omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acids have found that they reduce rates of heath disease and cancer. We believe that a moral contract exists between animals, farmers and consumers. We hold ethical treatment of animals, the environment and consumers health as our basic tenets. The process is simple. We bring the farm to you. When you pre-order your beef by the 1/8, 1/4 or whole, we will schedule a time for you to pick it up at our 50th and France Avenue location in Edina. You simple drive up and we will load it in your vehicle. We do offer a Beef CSA program for our 1/8th beef packages.
