Diamond B Farms

Diamond B Farms is located among the beautiful hillsides of Bracken County, Kentucky, owned by Lance and Ella Bowling and our two young sons, Levi and Landry. We bought the farm in 2003 when we first got married. Currently, we raise beef cattle and pigs. In our cattle we are focusing mainly on Simmental and crossbreds in a cow-calf operation and haven't ventured into marketing our beef direct to consumers. Our pig operation consists of several crossbred sows and we raise feeder pigs from wean to finish. Some pigs are sold direct to customers and taken to processing and the remainder of our pork we market to consumers at local farmers markets and direct from our farm. All of our pork is USDA processed with Boone's Butcher Shop in Bardstown, KY. Most recently, we are adding to the farm by bringing in pastured poultry production, focusing on meat birds that will be available starting in June and through October each year. We also plan to do a run with turkeys that will be available for Thanksgiving. Each summer we always grow a large garden and market produce at local farmers markets. This year we are making room for additional produce including larger plots of sweet corn and tomatoes.
