EConsulting

EConsulting(tm) is a black owned business that has been operating in Lexington, KY since 2006. Its founder Obiora Embry is a life-long learner who was influenced by the "Read the Labels" campaign of his brother Irucka and he started paying more attention to the ingredients in his food. He soon realized that even food that he had been purchasing from a local health foods store was not as "healthy" as he had thought. Also too often when Obiora read labels that led him to believe that it was "homemade" he felt there were far too many ingredients with many not being available at a local grocery store.

After tiring of eating healthy food with no flavor or too many ingredients, Obiora set out to make more of his own food using food that he grew and/or foraged. In doing so he combined his loves of growing food and being creative and started experimenting with lacto-fermentation and making a wide variety of foods from scratch (tomato sauce, green tomato pickles, salsa, and much more) in 2006.

EConsulting(tm) has been making products for Getting Back to Nature since 2016. The value-added food products are hand-crafted in small batches with love using non-GMO ingredients.
