Sylvan Brewing taproom and brewery is on the north edge of historic downtown Lanesboro, a picturesque town nestled along the Root River in the heart of southeastern Minnesota's beautiful bluff country. Founded in 2020 by Karen and Andy Heimdahl, Sylvan Brewing is located in the former wood-stacked granary and is Lanesboro’s first brewery in over 100 years!

Every time you pick up your vegetables you are able to chit chat with your farmers as well. Come visit the farm and say hello!

The St. Paul Meat shop is a neighborhood butcher shop and deli on Grand Avenue. We partner with local farms to source the most delicious and sustainable meats possible, perfect for the enthusiastic home cook. Our cases are stocked with wholesome, scratch made sides to pair with your dinner, bbq, or picnic. We also stock a curated selection of grocery items to round out your pantry. And if you're not in the mood to cook we will happily make you one of our hearty sandwiches.

Egg|Plant Urban Farm Supply is your source of supplies and inspiration for your own backyard homestead. We sell seeds, plants, soils and tools for small-scale urban kitchen gardens, as well as backyard chicken-keeping supplies, canning and preserving, fertilizers and pest control, all with an organic and sustainable focus. We believe your backyard garden and homestead can be beautiful, edible and sustainable, and we want to help you make that happen! Accessibility is limited

In June 2013, Seward Community Co-op announced its second store. By the following July, co-op owners invested $2.5 million into the project. The Friendship store opened in October 2015. The achievement of the Friendship store belongs to all of us in the co-op community and we celebrate not just the money that was invested but the jobs it has created and the expanded marketplace for Community Foods farmers and vendors.

Seward Community Co-op opened in 1972 on the corner of 22nd and Franklin avenues, with a core group of volunteers and a small selection of primarily Bulk products. With steady growth through the mid-1990s, Seward Co-op built a new store at 2111 E. Franklin Ave., which was opened in 1998. In 2005, the co-op planned a store expansion. Co-op owners invested $1.5 million into the project–the current Franklin store at 2823 E. Franklin Ave., which opened in 2009. Seward Co-op now has three locations and is owned by a community of more than 20,000 households.
