Friends and Neighbors Garden

The Friends and Neighbors Garden is an urban project designed to allow the church and the neighborhood to work together to grow healthy foods to feed the neighborhood at no obligation. FREE produce is harvested at 6:00 and distributed at 6:30 on Monday evenings during the growing season. Healthy recipes and food samples are also available. Monthly cooking classes and a Fall Harvest Festival provide more opportunities to learn how to prepare and appreciate a wide variety of healthy foods grown in downtown Carlisle.
