Parts of our farm has been in our family for close to 200 years. Primarily it has been farmed as a grain farm. In recent years sweet corn has been our trademark. Now we are mostly known for our berries-strawberries & raspberries. Check out our website or call for up to date picking information. We start in mid-May with strawberries and red and black raspberries June/July and end the season with red raspberries in September. To accompany our berries we offer edamame sweet soy beans picked to order and sweet red peppers. Call for availability of heirloom tomatoes, green beans, pumpkins, gourds, popcorn and indian corn.

Mitchell's Farm has great website that explains their process in full and lists their hours of operation. In addition to hand-picking your berries, you can opt to have them picked for you before you arrive; of course, this costs more. Their berries are wonderful! They make great pies.
We are considered a conventional farm; however we use as little chemicals as possible.
